About Calssic Rent a Bug

Classic Rent-a-Bug was established in 1998 by me and my wife Elaine. I have been lucky that I have been able to incorporate my love for Volkswagens and the restoration of the vehicles into the business and I am proud to be able to share them with others. The first vehicle was the classic white VW 1970 Karmann Cabriolet.  After this the next major project was the building of the VW 1972 Stretch Beetle Limo. Various other vehicles have been added to the business and the fleet continues to grow. The next project will be a Samba, watch this space!

All our vehicles are chauffeur driven by VW enthusiasts; who are all smartly dressed and carry mobile phones on the day. The vehicles are Non-Smoking, carry first aid kits, umbrellas and fire extinguishers. Most have rear seat belts and can accommodate child car seats. All vehicles are regularly serviced and maintained to a high standard.

Although the business was started as wedding car hire, Classic Rent-a-Bug is happy to quote for all occasions, e.g. school proms, birthdays, anniversaries.
