Standard package includes:
Driver
Full RAC cover
CD / Cassette player for your choice of music
Wedding package includes all the above, plus:
Ribbons in a choice of colours
Half a bottle of champagne for Bride and Groom
Maximum 4 hours hire
There is a mileage charge for return journeys outside a 20 mile radius from us. For longer periods of hire there will be an extra charge. Any journeys requiring an overnight stay will incur expenses for the drivers. Discounts are available if more than one vehicle is booked.
Terms and conditions
Booking information
- All bookings must be made on official booking forms and returned with deposit or credit card information.
- The car is not booked until Classic Rent a Bug receives the booking form and deposit.We accept cheque, cash, and credit cards.
- Any alterations to time, date, addresses etc must be made in writing with at least one weeks notice.
- A written quote will be given for cost, including mileage, waiting time, drivers expenses etc.
- All monies to be paid on invoice one month before the journey date.
Cancellations
- 1 Cancellations must be made in writing with one months notice in order to receive a refund of deposit. If not within the notice period no deposit will be returned.
- 2 It is your responsibility to check all details are correct.We cannot be held responsible for turning up at the wrong time, date, address if you have made a mistake.
- More than one pick up on journey must be listed on the booking form, or in writing, prior to the date. This may affect the quote and the cost.
- All cancellations must be made in writing.
Your responsibilities
- The hirer accepts responsibility for all persons in the party travelling in a Classic Rent a Bug vehicle
- No food or drink is permitted unless authorised by Classic Rent a Bug and NO SMOKING is allowed in any of the vehicles
- Classic Rent a Bug cannot be held responsible for any possessions left in the vehicle.
- Classic Rent a Bug will levy a £100 valet charge if the vehicle is misused through drink, food or illness .
- The hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the vehicle by the hirer or any member of the party, however so
caused. The hirer will agree to be liable for the total cost of repair at Classic Rent a bug’s chosen location.
Late bookings
Late bookings must be made with immediate payment and is dependant on the vehicle availability
General issues
Classic Rent a Bug cannot accept responsibility for:
· Adverse weather conditions
· Acts by other persons or organisations which may impact adversely on the hire period
Classic Rent a Bug may take photographs at your event; we may use them on our web site or promotional material. If you object please would advise us at the time of
confirmation.
Classic Rent a Bug recommends that the hirer takes out their own insurance for special events e.g. wedding.
Vehicles
- Whilst every effort is made to maintain the vehicles, responsibility cannot be accepted for mechanical, electrical or material breakdown whatsoever.In this
unlikely event every effort will be made for the immediate repair to the vehicle so that the journey can continue or transfer to another vehicle.
- In the event of a breakdown or accident to the vehicle, booked prior to the date of the booking, every effort will be made to supply an alternative vehicle at
Classic Rent a Bug’s discretion. If this is not acceptable to the Hirer, a refund will be made of any monies paid.
- In the event of conditions raised in general issues or any other breakdown or accident, no responsibility will be accepted for missed connections or functions,
however caused.
- Classic Rent a Bug reserves the right at any time to change/replace/renew the vehicle booked or advertised in order to maintain high standards.
